Exam pod repeated keystroke fix for MACs

Post by Rich Simms » Mon Jun 03, 2013 9:02 am

At the start of the exam tomorrow everyone will be assigned a new "pristine" pod to implement the tasks on.

If you let me know ahead ahead of time I can apply repeated keystroke fix on your pod. This typically only applies to MAC users. Otherwise you can apply this fix yourselves with:
  • Power off the virtual machine
  • Right click virtual machine select Edit Settings
  • Click Options > General > Configuration Parameters
  • Click Add Row
  • Under Name enter keyboard.typematicMinDelay In the Value field 2000000
  • Click OK
  • Power on the virtual machine

If it is not too late I would not mind the fix either. Thanks Rich!
